Gratitude: The Difference Between Chasing and Attracting

Gratitude. You’ll often hear spiritual advisors talk about living in gratitude and having appreciation for where you are, who you are and what you are right now. And honestly, for some of us who are more ambitious, the notion of being grateful for what you have can feel constricting because we can interpret it as ‘settling’. I want to completely obliterate the idea that having gratitude for where you are means that you aren’t ambitious or that more abundance is not headed your way.

Remember that everything is energy and has a unique vibration. Think of your feelings and thoughts as a vibration that you send out into the universe. So, let’s break this down.

When you think of achieving your deepest ambitions and desires , how do you feel? What is the vibration you emit to the world when you think about the dream house, the children or the partner of your deepest desires? If all your dreams come true tomorrow - what do you think you would feel? You’d feel pure gratitude. Absolute and amazing gratitude.

Gratitude is what moves us from ‘chasing’ to ‘attracting’ our dreams and desires. When you are grateful for your life today, you attract more things to be grateful for. This, my loves, is how the Law of Attraction works.

"Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance." Eckhart Tolle
